Clerk II Check Processing

Responsible for the daily printing and handling of claim related checks.  Complies with special check handling requests from adjusters and clients. Audits and researches holding payments. Researches and resolves returned checks. Duties include a variety of clerical functions that are primarily routine to moderately difficult in nature.  Follows well established procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions. Must work at peak efficiency to assure smooth operation of functions. Experience in the use of the PC and various software application such as MS Word and MS Excel. Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
