Position Description:

*Review account information to determine employee eligibility for Voluntary coverage
*Complete employee transactions for new business and case changes such as enrollments, changes to existing employees benefits, underwriting and terminations.
*Work with field sales and sales support representatives on new business and plan change eligibility issues/questions.
*Coordinate and assist with the Voluntary eligibility on-boarding process.
*Prepare personalized enrollments
*Serve as a technical resource and trainer for Voluntary processes and procedures as needed *Audit work of peers and external resources
*Work on special projects as required.

Basic Qualifications:
1. 2 years customer service work experience
2. General knowledge of eligibility procedures
3. Basic knowledge of group insurance products and group operations.
4. Skill and experience in data entry
5. Good verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
6. Good mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and rounding.
7. Good organization skills for managing/ prioritizing own work in response to team needs. 8. Experience working effectively in a team environment
9. Experience working effectively under time constraints and meet deadlines.
10.Ability to work independently as well as across company departments.
11.Skill in comprehending and retaining technical information.
12.High Integrity

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
1.Strong knowledge of EBG Operations and products
2.Work experience with Voluntary Products
3.Knowledge of GRID system
4.Knowledge of EBG Voluntary products and processes
5.Knowledge of where to go/who to contact to get answers within EBG to assist customers
