Client Service Specialist
Lumenos, a leader in consumer driven health care and member of WellPoint, is currenlty looking for several experienced Client Service Specialists to join us in our Alexandria, VA office. The Client Service Specialist performs ongoing account maintenance and support for a dedicated implemented account.
The Essential Duties and Responsibilites are:
1. Researches, executes resolution, and follows through with multiple clients on client/member-raised issues related to claims, eligibility, provider network, reporting and pharmacy management.
2. Works internally with client services staff to meet the demands of the customer and customer?s members by completing all tasks assigned by their Manager.
3. Reviews supporting account materials including presentations, Summary Plan Descriptions and other materials to be distributed to the client?s members.
4. Reviews client documentation during the implementation process and ongoing maintenance of account.
5. Provides specialized customer service through resolving escalated client member issues.
6. Responds to phone and email messages in a prompt and professional manner by close of business each day or by the next business day, if indicated.
7. Delivers world-class service all the time to our customers.
8. Assists with phone coverage as necessary and as directed by a Customer Service Manager.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
? Comprehension level equivalent to college graduate or equivalent combination of formal education and training.
? Minimum of two years experience providing superior customer service.
? Account management experience preferred.
Knowledge:
? Demonstrated knowledge of health insurance and claims processing
? Demonstrated knowledge of health care insurance products
Skills:
? Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint)
? Demonstrated attention to detail
Abilities:
? Demonstrated timely follow-through on and resolution of client issues
? Ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external contacts
? Ability and desire to work in a highly dynamic, fast paced, and team environment
? Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting and multiple priorities while meeting all deadlines and deliverables
? Demonstrated ability to organize tasks and manage competing priorities and issues, completing tasks within deadlines
? Demonstrated ability to work independently
? Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing and to produce thorough, organized documentation
