Description:
One of the nation’s leading full-service providers of insurance products is looking for a temporary to permanent Commercial Auto Adjuster to join their Atlanta, GA team. As a Commercial Auto Adjuster, you will be in involved in claims that will close in 30 - 60 days with an average case load of 150. The claims will include trucks, tractors, trailers, 18 wheelers, cargo, auto transport, storage facilities, buses, limos, taxies, refrigerated trucks, liquid tankers, non-hazmat, flatbed, and some minor bodily injury cases.
Responsibilities:
24-hour contact with all parties
Secure coverage and verify policy limits
Determine damages
Determine liability though fact gathering
Take recorded statements from all parties: insured, claimant, witnesses
Secure police reports
Determine the value of claim to support any arguments
Set reserves and work closely with outside vendors
Requirements:
3+ years handling commercial auto claims to include bodily injury
College degree required (3.0 GPA)
Compensation:
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
