Commercial Lines Account Manager

Our agency is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to handle customer service for our niche program business.  Our focus is on maintaining excellent service to clients in a sales culture.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?  Analyze customer needs and recommend various coverage options

 

?  Retain an assigned book of business 

 

?  Handle telephone requests and correspondence in reference to assigned clients and as needed to cover desks for team.

 

?  Review mail, email and messages for team members when they are out, and work ?important? or ?time sensitive items? as necessary.

 

?  To service commercial lines accounts as assigned, rating and quoting new and renewal risks, and aiding in collections.

? Review applications, renewal requests, and endorsements for compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines.

 

EDUCATION/BACKGROUND Minimum 5 years agency experience.  Knowledge of Applied Systems a plus. Must be able to work independently and build strong client and company relationships.  Individual must be licensed.  Experience handling large account a plus.  Designations helpful.  Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
