Essential Functions

The Account Representative provides a variety of Client/Customer services and/or clerical support to assist Broker(s) and/or other Account Representatives within the Property/Casualty or Marine Insurance Departments.



TASKS



 

? Research requests from the company underwriter.

Clerical

? Compose correspondence to insured/underwriters.

? Type applications, letters, memos, etc.

? Answer telephone and route calls to others.

? Process and distribute mail.

 

? Inputs invoice information

? Processes Dead Files

Minimum Qualification Requirements



Education:

? High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

? Entry Level

? Candidate must pass agency proctored Basic Office Skills exam with a minimum score of 70%.

? Ability to file, touch type (30-35 wpm), use a computer keyboard and operate general office equipment required. Some general office experience preferred. Excellent oral communication skills. Speak and understand English. Work is performed under close supervision with detailed instructions on most tasks.
