Commercial Lines Underwriter-Senior
Harleysville Insurance is a premier small business insurer offering a broad range of property and casualty insurance products in 32 Eastern and Midwestern states is looking for the right insurance professional to work out of a home office.
We are looking for experienced underwriting professionals to join our underwriting team. Responsibilities include reviewing complex applications, renewals, endorsements and managing an assigned territory of independent agents. Candidates should have 5+ years commercial lines, multi-line underwriting experience, including strong loss analysis and exposure/control analysis abilities. College degree preferred, and demonstrated involvement in insurance related education, such as AU or CPCU courses.
This underwriter will work independently while supporting the efforts of an underwriting team environment with responsibility for overseeing production as well as service standards. Requirements include a Bachelor degree or equivalent AU, CPCU, INS, Are and a minimum of five years? multi-line underwriting experience.
