We are currently seeking a Commercial Underwriter in the Racine area.

 

As a Commercial Underwriter -

 

You will have direct responsibility for underwriting of the property, crime, and auto lines of a program book of business. Candidate will be responsible for profitable risk selection, premium growth, satisfying broker and carrier requests. Candidate should be familiar with the operations of a managing general agent. Underwriting background in the health care, nursing home and assist living operations a plus.

The Commercial Underwriter will have -

 Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent3 years minimum commercial property and casualty underwriting experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, and AppliedStrong communication, analytical, and negotiation skillAbility to work in a team environmentCPCU, CIC, ARM, or similar designations a plus
