JELD-WEN?s Health Benefits Department (located in Redmond, OR) is seeking a Communications Coordinator  who will report directly to the Communications Manager.  The Coordinator will assist with the development and coordination of all Health Plan, Marketing and department related communication pieces.  Communication program materials will be created to educate, engage and direct plan participants to medical resources and to promote health and wise medical consumerism. 

 

A college degree is preferred along with 1-2 years of graphic design experience.  The selected individual must be highly organized and possess the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The best candidate will be proficient in typesetting, proofing and editing content and be able to work quickly and accurately, using a variety of graphic design and other computer software programs (InDesign, Quark, Pagemaker, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint).  Strong attention to detail and the ability to create various communication media, as well as knowledge of pre-press specifications, printing process management and bindery are essential.  Exposure to the health care and/or insurance industry is helpful.
