Compliance/Controls Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities

-Performing User Re-Certifications, Maintenance of User Accounts, Performing Audits of User Access Controls, Documentation of Policies regarding Access Controls

-Perform and develop queries and tools for data calls.  These include AV, NAIC and State required calls as well as user requests for data.

-Document and publish procedures used for all reporting including run-instructions, balancing controls and system documentation.

 

Five years of Property-Casualty related systems experience. Program development experience in a mid-range platform is desirable.  Strong analytical skills are required to assure the integrity of data is maintained. Excellent communication skills both oral and written are imperative.  This individual must work effectively with all levels of company staff as well as representing the company to agencies and vendors

 

Complex analysis of existing systems will always be required to balance systems output whether the output is receivables, earned premium or reinsurance.  Individual here must bring a wide variety of business knowledge to the table but must also couple that knowledge with the systems eye towards how data for each of these is generated and stored. 

 

EDUCATION: 

Educational background required to perform the job at MINIMAL standards.

Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science.

And/Or 

Strong knowledge of Property Casualty Company business is imperative in this position.  Familiarity with business needs of all user departments is essential to assure the proper reporting and capture of data involved.  Some of this knowledge can be achieved through P & C related education, otherwise this knowledge must be gained by relevant work-experience.
