Consultant - Business

Consultant - Business Candidate should possess the following:

Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management internally and the client site.
Ability to develop creative solutions to problems
Ability to communicate with clients effectively
Ability to perform consulting with clients when needed
Ability to work with clients to develop specifications
Ability to manage small to mid size application projects
Ability to clearly document business requirements, system impacts and situations
Analysis and Reporting
Proven competency with written and verbal communication
Customer Focus and Relationship Building
Strong understanding of insurance processing and work flow
Problem Solving and Decision Making
Technical Industry and/or Profession Expertise

Minimum 5 years experience in Property and Casualty insurance, including underwriting, agency interface, billing, marketing, business analysis and project management is preferred.
Proven analysis skills, including the ability to gather and document clear business requirements.
Strong knowledge of Property and Casualty industry and insurance and underwriting rules and rating preferred.

Proficiency in effectively using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with underwriting software applications and web-based underwriting systems.

Strong mathematical aptitude.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Regular and on-time attendance.
Ability to travel occasionally

BA degree business or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience considered.
CPCU or other relevant professional designation preferred.
