Consumer Engagement Consultant
The Clinical Guidance Organization (CGO) provides Humana members a comprehensive suite of clinical programs and services, from member-accessed information on the MyHumana personal Website to in-depth coordination of transplant services. Meeting members where they are in the health spectrum, we partner with members to stay well when they're healthy and to navigate the health care system when they're ill. With clinical programs such as commercial case management, disease management, HumanaBeginnings, Personal Nurse, transplant management, and quality management, the CGO's objectives are to instill trust and confidence in our members, customers and providers; facilitate better outcomes by participation in our programs; and increase the effective use of our resources for both cost savings and improved member experience.
The CGO is seeking a Consultant for the following responsibilities:
Act as a key leader for consumer engagement and project support to clinical teams and process improvement initiatives to drive growth, reduce medical expenses or improve consumer satisfaction
Develop measurement, analysis and evaluation systems for consumer engagement projects and campaigns.
Facilitating the design and implementation of new marketing, behavior modification and consumer engagement programs.
Facilitating consumer messaging campaigns in collaboration with the Clinical Condition Center Teams (C3) in the identification of barriers to performance, root cause analysis, process mapping, issue prioritization, brainstorming solutions and implementation.
Develop within the CGO and Innovation Center integrated strategies for consumer engagement and behavior modification that includes incentives and benefit plan design.
Provide consultation to C3 team and CGO staff regarding consumer engagement
Presenting recommendations to peers, leadership team and stakeholders and influence decision making
Obtaining knowledge by asking questions, exploring different options, being creative and thorough, and open to new ideas
Facilitating collaboration among stakeholders
The requirements for the Consultant role include:
BS in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Health Behavior Modification or related degree
5 - 10 years experience in healthcare marketing or consumer marketing/communications
Proven ability to gather, manipulate and analyze data from multiple sources to find workable solutions marketing and consumer engagement issues
Process orientation with ability to perform root cause analysis
Consultation skills which include ability to assess and understand client processes, elicit client understanding, and insight to advise and make recommendations
Proven project management skills and experience
Previous success maneuvering in a large organization to implement program changes
Proven leadership skills and business acumen
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Proven ability to create clear, concise documentation
Strong ability to understand internal Humana systems, and see the big picture
