Contract/Product Analyst (Personal lines insurance)

As part of Product Operation's Contract Strategy and Execution team, you will support corporate strategies by developing and maintaining personal lines products that meet customer needs. This includes managing margins and driving profitable growth by drafting new contract language, evaluating existing language, managing and revising contract-related forms and documentation while ensuring contracts comply with state laws and regulations.?? The Analyst conducts insurance product research and analysis, drafts contract language and documents changes. He/she is expected to provide input regarding contract strategy and will participate in the implementation of basic and intermediate level policy change projects. Project scope may include a multi state reach as well as require coordination amongst multi-disciplinary teams.


Primary accountabilities:

1. Evaluate and revise policy language and related documentation
2. Manage multiple projects through completion, within designated time frames and? budget
3. Build partnerships across multiple functions and disciplines
4. Ensure contract language adheres to state laws and regulations
5. Develop into a Subject Matter Expert for personal lines products in order to serve as an effective resource and liaison to others

Minimum Requirements:

1.? Related 4 year degree strongly preferred, along with related insurance course work and/or designations a plus
2.? Approximately 5 years of related industry experience, including prior experience in interpretation of insurance contracts (such as from a claims or underwriting perspective as an example), and technical/contract writing experience preferred?
3.? Solid project management aptitude and detail orientation in order to manage projects with high level of efficiency and within specified guidelines,
4.? Proven collaborative/interpersonal skills to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and build solid partnerships with internal contacts and influence others in meeting project goals
5.? Excellent written and oral communication skills
6.? Microsoft proficient
