Job Description:

This position performs data entry of new groups, current groups dental buy ups and life adds. Will support the team for New Business Underwriters. Must develop and adhere to all H.I.P.A.A. guidelines. Should have an understanding of company policies and procedures as they apply to CaliforniaChoice plans. Will quality control all new cases and underwriters approve them. Must be able to lead department meetings as needed and learn and back up absent team members' tasks and duties. The ideal candidate will be a team player with experience with Word and Excel and knowledge of basic office equipment. Accurate data entry skills and a typing speed of 35 WPM or greater are required. Candidate should have the ability to handle multiple tasks and the ability to adapt to constant change. Must be able to work overtime with 24 hours' notice and understand that vacations are not allowed during crunch periods. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
