Coordinator Operational Support

 

You’ll do more than organize and coordinate quality improvement activities. We’re looking for an insightful analyst who can put his/her knowledge of health insurance process to work facilitating project initiatives and develop the documents and data we need to maximize reporting efficiency. You will create reports and databases that address claims and cost containment metrics and support the Claims and Cost Containment Departments’ strategies and objectives. We will rely on you to go the extra mile to apply your analytical abilities to find solutions to data compilation issues, as well as being our technical expert for the COGNOS reporting tool.

 

While being an objective data interpreter is critical, this position also requires a highly organized professional who can coordinate efforts to implement quality improvements and department initiatives, shifting priorities to resolve problems, meet deadlines and achieve desired results.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar field or work equivalent Requires 1-2 years’ experience in claims or cost management operations (project management experience preferred)Requires strong math aptitude and advanced data analysis skillsRequires computer proficiency with MS-Excel and Access (Mainframe, SQL, Oracle or data warehouse desirable)Requires excellent oral and written communication skillsRequires a high degree of self-motivation, independence and initiativeRequires effective time management abilities and attention to detail
