Competencies / Tech Skills:

Must possess strong quantitative/analytical and problem solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and integrate multiple sources of data and information.

Must possess strong project management, communication and presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to work with and present to senior level management. Must be capable of working within multi-disciplinary teams.

Demonstrated advanced competency with necessary software tools, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.

Work experience must include at least 1-2 years of consulting, banking, or equivalent experience.

Position Description :

The Corporate Development Analyst will work within Chubb's Corporate Development group. Corporate Development is an internal consulting group that works with senior business unit and corporate management to develop and execute strategic initiatives for existing and new businesses. Scope of projects to include:

1) Analysis of existing businesses/products: Strategy validation, strategy formulation and implementation including: analysis of addressable market, scenario analysis, operational assessment, etc.

2) New market/business entry: Business case development including:

analysis of market dynamics, service and product offerings, financial projections, organizational design, legal and regulatory review, funding requirements.

3) Acquisitions/Strategic Investments/Alliances: Identification of candidates, development of business case for investment, acquisition integration, or partnership.

 

Education: MBA or CFA required
