Customer Claims Representative Supervisor

In a branch office or after hours operations, provides direct supervision to Senior Claims Representative and Claims Representatives in unit. Confirms that subordinates accurately obtain information, appraisals are promptly arranged, ICP procedures are followed, and subrogation potential and coverage issues are recognized. Ensures that accurate records are received and maintained in branch office. Trains subordinates in proper communication skills, posting procedures and complain handling, Reviews and assesses subordinates work and writes meaningful appraisals.

Qualifications:
Superior working knowledge of all functions of the Claims Representative position and work spectrum as well as a strong knowledge of the various operations within the Claims department, normally acquired through a High School Degree plus 3-5 years experience as a Claims Representative/ Senior Claims Representative. Licensing is required in some jurisdictions.
