Description:
The DMV Service Specialist is responsible for overseeing all activities, tasks and issues associated with the filing of Commercial Automobile Proof of Coverage within the assigned states which have mandated reporting requirements. Tasks include the filing of Proof of Coverage through keying and/or uploading of Excel templates into the Automobile Liability Insurance Reporting (ALIR) system, promptly responding to state DMV requests for verification of coverage and suspension warnings, and for monitoring of system usage, issues, and the interpretation of evolving requirements for the assigned states. This position serves as a focal coordination point between the brokers, internal business units, and DBG departments accountable for regulatory reporting issues, and AIG insureds with DMV proof of coverage issues.

Position Responsibilities:
* Complete designated filings in accordance with predefined schedules;
* Identify issues with filings, research causes, and take prompt corrective action;
* Interpret new and changing requirements and produce specifications for changes of low-to-moderate complexity;
* Perform User Acceptance Testing in support of requested system enhancements/changes and report specifications;
* Ensure that activity, volume, and issues are recorded, tracked, and communicated in accordance with procedure.
* Monitor business unit usage of the Automobile Liability Insurance Reporting system, and provide guidance and training as required to the users.
