Data Analyst

Challenging position available with Strickland Insurance Group, an expanding company in the non-standard market with future personal growth and advancement opportunities located in Goldsboro, NC.  (no relocation available):

 

Description:

 

Will perform duties to analyze, design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support queries, data extracts, and reports based on customer requests. Responsibilities will include designing, drafting, and documenting specifications for other team members, business customers, and management, detailing proposed technical and business solutions.  Design and draft queries supporting data extracts, programming changes, and reports.

 

Requirements:

 

Individual must have undergraduate studies in computer science, BS degree preferred.  Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills for contact with all levels of technical and business customers. At least one year experience with writing and using SQL and PL/SQL to access and report on data requests.  Previous Crystal, Word and Excel experience is a plus.  Candidate must have ability to analyze needs and requirements, design, suggest, and document solutions to meet customer requirements.
