Data Analyst - Tax Jurisdiction
Essential Job Functions:
DATA ANALYST
The Data Analyst is responsible for the analysis of inbound/outbound files, completion of conversion specifications and review of jurisdiction profile information that affects automated processing of inbound/outbound files.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Develop database and workflow tools Analyze files received from jurisdiction Determine development/production status create or rewrite specifications for files received within specified departmental requirements Review and update (as needed) all jurisdiction information that is directly related to processing inbound jurisdiction files Review / analyze outbound files to ensure accurate request and payment data is sent to jurisdiction
Applicants for this position should possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience or related field or relative job experienceMicrosoft Access experience Microsoft Visual Basic experience Familiarity with a variety of the mortgage lending concepts, practices and procedures desirable.
Additional Job Functions:
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Availability to work beyond normal business hours as needed.
One to two years in mortgage and/or tax servicing preferred.
Available for occasional short-term business travel.
