Detail Clerk

Contributes to achievement of Customer Group, Branch and Corporate goals relating to profit, renewal retention, rate, service, and producer/client relations. The Detail Clerk will provide clerical support to the commercial property and casualty underwriters in accordance with established workflows and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Ordering account-specific information (including loss information, certified copies, driver information, loss control reports).

*Process transactions (including Broker of Record letters, Renewal Do Not Renew/Cancellations, Work Comp Dividends, Conditional Renewal Letters).

*Enter/close-out new business submissions and manage list of open items in the Commercial Underwriting Workstation.

*Perform Endorsement Triage Process and complete standardized tool templates for processing.

*Communicate and work effectively with all team members and underwriting business partners to ensure the service provided to customers meets or exceeds expectations.

Competencies/Skills:
The selected candidate must have strong communication, multitasking, prioritization and organizational skills. Must demonstrate: Strong PC navigation skills, Mathematical aptitude, Proficient in Word and Excel, Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; Ability to exercise initiative, decision making and good judgment.
