Director Business Development

This month our client announced unprecedented Quarterly earnings, including:The successful launch of their national stand-alone Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP), adding 700,000 new beneficiariesFirst quarter revenue growth of 74% to $730.4 millionA doubling in membership to over 1.5 millionFirst quarter net income growth of 58%

 

To support the continuation of this skyrocketing growth, our client is searching for a Director of Business Development for a new Business Unit.

 

Reporting to the President of the New Business, the Director of Business Development will uncover, develop and manage strategic relationships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances ? and develop and market new products for the growth of the new entity and the enterprise as a whole.

 

This is obviously a critical and highly visible position.  In order to accomplish the objectives required, the Director of Business Development will possess the required competencies, credentials and experiences commensurate with a position of this level, included but not limited to:An MBA or MPHA strategic consulting background with a major strategic consulting firm.A consistent history of accomplishment with commercial Insurance and/or Medicare expertiseHighly refined analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives in ever-changing and demanding environment.Outstanding communication and platform skills, with Board Room presence.

 

This position offers the opportunity to work with a world class management team and to play a critical role in a start up inside one of the fastest growing government health insurance companies in the world.  An outstanding compensation and benefits plan is offered with a base salary of $140,000 plus bonus plus equity.
