The Director will supervise a 20 member team of Utilization Review Coordinators and Case Managers. Other duties include, providing technical expertise to evaluate complex claims and appeals issues, improving reporting and statistical analysis capabilities within the department, and coordinating the cross-functional support to other departments. 

 

Qualifications include:

BS.  Masters degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years management experience.

RN with an unrestricted NYS license.

Clinical and health insurance industry experience required. Experience in public health setting is desirable.

Experience applying innovative technological solutions to improve productivity.

Proven track record in Customer Service Management improvement.

Certification in Case Management and familiarity of URAC compliance desired.
