District Marketing Manager

Our Bristol West team is looking for a District Marketing Manager.  This position is responsible for assisting with managing the distribution and promotion of all products in assigned territory, demonstrating superior sales results, serving as an expert in our products and operation processes and assisting in mentoring and training of new and existing sales staff.

 

? Provide direct management of assigned Territory Marketing Managers.

? Provide direct support and assistance to the Regional Marketing Manager in all coverage areas.

? Assist Regional Marketing Manager in strategic planning for marketing in all coverage areas.

? Analyze SOON data and reports in order to improve marketing focus.

? Provide mentoring and training for TMMs in all coverage areas.

? Participate in industry events and trade shows as appropriate.

? Identify and communicate product or market opportunities.

? Identify and manage statewide or multi-state accounts and relationships.

? Visit and manage a select group or agencies in their territory.

? Develop strong relationships with producers to increase production and profitability.

? Keep abreast of competitor and regulatory changes and predict the impact on Bristol West.

? Initiate audits, review loss runs, and suggest methods to improve performance.

? Provide producer training and perform installation of agency automation.

? Keep producers informed of product enhancements, production and loss results.

? Manage producer performance and recommend terminations when appropriate.

? Identify prospective producers for agency appointments.

? Procure all needed producer appointment paperwork.

? Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualified candidates will have:
Education

? Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience Experience & Skills

? 5 years prior experience in insurance field sales

? Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed objectives

? Superior knowledge of the independent agent base and competitors in territory

? Demonstrated strong interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
