Job Summary:

This position will be part of an Enterprise Data Initiative Team that will be responsible for leveraging the value of the data assets throughout the organization. The team will facilitate the development/implementation of the desired end-state data environment.

The Enterprise Data Team will be responsible for improving the organization's decision-making capabilities by providing high quality, transparent data.

The team will work with the business leaders to establish Enterprise-wide accountability for data, link business objectives with data needs and identify/measure/close data quality gaps.

In this role, the candidate will lead core teams in the conceptualization and identification of critical information solutions for the Enterprise. The candidate will develop actionable plans, capitalize on opportunities and be responsible for formal communication of progress to management. Role will also include the development of guidelines/principles surrounding Data Management. This role will require effective leadership and strong mentoring/coaching skills.



Job Qualifications:

8 or more years of related experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and interact effectively as part of a team
Proficient with SQL, SAS, Erwin, Data Quality Tools, ETL or technologies
Highly proficient with MS Office products
Experience with design/development of Data Warehouses and OLTP processing desired
Demonstrated experience with an insurance company is highly desired
