Experienced Liability Adjuster - Inside - (CR-06-0127)

SUMMARY: Resolves automobile liability and general liability claims by investigating losses and negotiating settlements.  This is an inside position with a very reasonable caseload.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Determines coverage and interviews insureds and witnesses, obtains official reports and medical information.  Sets loss reserves and prepares reports required by client, as well as local, state, and federal rules.  Coordinates activities of outside adjusters.  Settles first and third party claims based on investigation.  Acts as liaison between client and claims unit.  Excellent growth opportunity in a top performing branch.

 

REQUIRMENTS:

Three to five years experience adjusting liability claims, some automobile experience strongly preferred.  Candidate must have General Liability, Products Liability,  and Auto Liability experience.  Prefer college degree.  Excellent computer skills.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills.  Strong analytical and negotiating skills.  Excellent customer service skills. Must have Litigation Management experience.
