Facilitated Enrollment Representative

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate or equivalent.  Additional two years college preferred.  Four years of work experience in sales/sales related or community activities.  Must possess valid driver?s license.  Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet software) preferred.  Bilingual verbal and written ability required.

 

ABILITIES:

1.  Work independently on field assignments.

2.  Travel in the New York metropolitan area.

3.  Submit qualified and completed enrollments.

4.  Work well with various HIP departments.

5.  Interpersonal skills to effectively maintain working relationships, resolve issues and obtain information.

6.  Represent the corporation and division in a favorable light.

7.  Analytical and problem solving skills to identify needs and resolve issues.

8.  Communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and written.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Enroll subscribers, assist prospective subscriber in completing the appropriate application forms and meeting necessary enrollment requirements for completion of the enrollment process.

2. Conduct member retention activities as needed.

3. Assist individuals in selecting appropriate health plan, facilitate new enrollment and recertification processes.  Obtain required documentation.

4. Maintain appointments through the Telemarketing Department and provide services to walk-ins.

5. Present the HIP Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus and Medicaid Benefit Plans to community groups, small businesses and prospective subscribers.

6. Sell HIP Child Health Plus and Medicaid products to eligible individuals in field situations.

7. Develop and implement a marketing plan in conjunction with sales management to enhance enrollment opportunities and grow enrollment.

8. Maintain records and reports as required.

9. Perform various related duties as assigned.

 Note:  This is a field/office assignment in Queens/Long Island.
