Job Description

This position is responsible for inspection and appraisals of vehicle damages, including motorcycles and recreational vehicles.  This person will be responsible for evaluating and settling total loss vehicles.  This position requires the ability to negotiate with repair shops and yards regarding repairs and the disposition of vehicles.  This person will have frequent interaction with vehicle owners, body shops, and storage yards.  Other duties may include scene photos and diagrams, along with picking up police reports and other documents.

Job Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience. The qualified candidate must also have well-developed communication and organizational skills, as well as a high degree of initiative and mature judgment. The ability to resolve conflicts and empathize with customers is critical.

Qualifications desired for this position include:  the ability to work with multiple computer applications, a good driving record, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
