Field Claims Adjuster II/III - Ft. Myers/Naples, FL

Investigates, adjusts and settles claims to a specified authority.  Obtains reports, appraisals, statements from witnesses’ etc.  Estimates property value.  Effect settlements within prescribed limits and submit recommendations to supervisor on cases exceeding personal settlement authority.  Obtains data and information by conferring with and interviewing person associated in any way with the case and secures written statements and copies of policy as claim records.

 

This position is a home-based office that covers the South Tampa to Naples, FL territory.  The ideal candidate will be located in Sarasota, FL





Successful candidates will possess the following:




2-3 years of property claims adjusting experience, be able to write residential and mobile home repair estimates
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Be PC literate with functional skills in word-processing software applications and residential estimating systems
Responds to catastrophes and other temporary assignments that may be outside of their territory. Such assignments may be made with short notice and last for an indefinite period.
Florida Adjuster's license is required
Acceptable credit and good driving record is required
