Field Claims Training Mgr II

We currently have a need for an experienced Field Claims Training Manager.

This individual provides management support and supervision to a staff of Field Trainers for a state or multi state region. May perform in a trainer capacity up to 25% of the time.

Scope:
Utilizes adjusting, training and management skills to improve claim file quality, customer orientation, general claims handling and estimating skills in the field organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
*Implement the training plan
- Directs work assignments and scheduling.
- Oversees the local training processes
- Integrates training with others aspects of the business.
- Teaches as needed.

*Develop professional training organization
- Manages training quality and audits trainers.
- Handles all personnel actions including hiring, training, development, performance reviews and salary recommendations.
- Expense management.
- Links the training process to business results.

*Provide support and leadership
- Serves as a technical resource to the organization.
- Partners with management to conduct performance/ root cause analysis and create strategies to improve results.

Requirements:
- General claims adjusting proficiency, typically 4-5 years related claims experience.
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and/or postsecondary education. Relevant experience includes work as a claims adjuster or a position that required the ability to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activities, serve customers and negotiate.
- Proficient in presenting, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to develop and implement training plans.
- Management experience preferred.

Working Conditions:
- Physical demands of occasional bending and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Work environment - classroom and office.
- Travel: Variable depending on business unit. Typically 20-50%.
