Job Description:
AutoVIN a subsidiary of ADESA, Inc. is seeking self directed and motivated candidates with display strong organizational and interpersonal skills who can function in an independent work environment working from their home office. Join the audit and inspection industry leader and the second largest automobile auction chain in the North America as a Field Manager. Primary daily functions will be performing dealer vehicle and inventory floor plan audits and inspection of leased vehicles for excess wear and tear using handheld computers and AutoVIN's proprietary software system.

Job Summary:
Perform floor plan audits of automobile dealerships and equipment dealers, ensuring floor planned inventory is physically present or otherwise accounted for by review of dealer sales documents or records. Perform inventory reconciliation and reporting of audit results to customer at the conclusion of the audit.
Inspect vehicles at lease maturity using customer provided standards to assess damage and determine if there is excess wear and tear. Inspections may be performed at either an automobile dealership or a lessee's home or office. Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage or structural damage. Report results to lessee and customer at conclusion of inspection. Extensive customer interaction requires all employees must be professional, courteous in manner and dress, and have excellent communication skills.
Based upon inventory levels, assist in inspection of daily rental vehicles at AutoVIN Marshalling Yard on an as needed basis.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required with some college preferred. At least one (1) year of experience in one (1) of these disciplines or industries is required:
1. Customer Service
2. Collections
3. Automobile dealership or body shop
4. Inventory management
5. Financial floor plan audit
6. Automotive remarketing
7. Vehicle inspection
Must have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance. Extensive local travel is required using personal vehicle (reimbursed by the company). Overnight travel (approximately 20%) is required to assist in other areas as needed.
Additional consideration will be given for previous active, reserve or retired military service.
