Responsible for compensation and retirement accounting.Works with Controller and Accounting Manager on advanced general ledger analysis and reconciliation projects in areas such as deposits, loans and taxes.Monitors and implements internal controls in payroll area.Prepares monthly payroll variance reports: actual vs. budget, expense trend, fte actual vs. budget, fte trend, overtime trend, temporary expense trend and reconciliation, health insurance trend and reconciliation, and special reports.Reviews master file updates for ADP PCPW, E Time and other special systems requests.Coordinates and responds to payroll audits including workers compensation, internal and external audit requests, and other audit requests as necessary. Reviews and approves all payroll journal entries. Does payroll account reconciliation.Prepares all payroll accruals which includes temporary agency, vacation, and incentive accruals. Does accounting for compensation programs.Conducts annual internal audit of vacation records.
