Group Benefit/Insurance Analyst

You will be responsible for obtaining data necessary to secure, analyze, and present complex and detailed insurance/administrative proposals that meet customer objectives. You will also collect and manipulate client data for use in creating complex and detailed cost/benefit analysis reports for clients and for use in securing insurance or administrative proposals from insurance carriers or administrators. In addition, you will conduct complex and detailed market analysis projects for clients/prospects.

To qualify, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business -OR- 5 years’ experience working for a group/property and casualty insurance agency in a technical capacity. You must also have Accident/Life/Health license or P&C license and 5 years’ experience in a technical administrative role with a group/P&C insurance agency. Agency management software (i.e. Allied, AMS) Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word experience and professional designation of ACS, CISR, or CIC or 5 years experience in a direct face-to-face and telephone customer service role also required. You must also have 2 years’ experience with Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
