We have an open position in Columbia, MD for an exceptional candidate to support our clients? Executive Team. This position is temp-to-hire and candidate must have specific skills listed to be considered: Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products and a minimum of 2 years of administrative assistant experience (preferably as an executive asst.). Candidate should have good communication and customer service skills, be professional in demeanor and dress, able to multi-task, handle confidential information and meet deadlines. Candidate should have self initiative, be organized and learn quickly.

Duties include:
Prepare mailers & presentations, organize meeting rooms & materials, type memos, letters & correspondence, support the maintenance of our ACT database & handle data entry for our sales & marketing activities.
Handle office event planning, ordering & maintaining marketing materials & developing reports using queries in VISTA, CME, TME & RAMM.
Maintain a list of office business & track by consultant & manager.
Schedule & organize calendars of the managers, field calls, prepare manuals & agendas, complete & submit expense reports & track & research travel expenses.
Support clerical needs of office & LAN/IT admin. needs.
Assist with Help Desk, handle LAN backup, manage office equipment, functions, mailroom, filing, phone system & handle travel arrangements.

 

This position is a growth opportunity since candidates usually move up within the company and that is the reason for this opening. Salary is $30 to $34K, possibly higher for the right candidate with previous Executive Assistant experience. GREAT benefits package and free parking on site. Hours are 8:00 to 5:00 with 1 hour lunch.
