I/T Programmer Analyst
USAA is currently seeking a talented I/T Programmer Analyst for our San Antonio, TX location.
As an I/T Programmer Analyst for USAA, you will monitor and tune mainframe systems to enhance system performance, meet service level objectives, quickly resolve slow response outages and find opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of host configuration and performance. You will also perform processor planning in a complex parallel sysplex environment, proposing and evaluating processor upgrade options that most effectively meet capacity requirements as indicated by capacity projections.
Qualified candidates will possess:
3 years of experience with systems performance analysis in a parallel sysplex environment.
Experience with MVS monitoring tools Mainview or Omegamon, MVS internals and RMF.
Familiarity with IMS, DB2 and CICS in a data sharing environment.
IT-related bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred experience includes:
Experience with IBM HCD.
Proficiency with MXG, SAS, RMF, SMF and WLM.
