In-House Auto Damage Appraiser

Description: This is an in-house position responsible for reviewing estimates of damaged vehicles for accuracy and completness. Other responsibilities include supplemental appraisal reveiws and other duties as assigned. Total loss opinions, DRP and independent re-inspections, and supplemental appraisals are daily features of the job.

Qualifications:
Requirements include knowledge of automobile parts and repair techniques, terminology and vehicle construction. Licensing and certification in some jurisdictions are required. An understanding of the basics of the claims department operation is necessary.
