Insurance Data Warehouse Project Manager

The Insurance Practice within BearingPoint is seeking a sales and delivery focused Manager with either Property/Casualty or Life/Annuity Business experience to expand our Integrated Data capabilities.

Performance Profile:

-This Manager role requires an individual contributor who has demonstrable "hands on" experience managing a team of consulting professionals in the delivery of Integrated Data services to insurance clients.
-Responsible for tailoring sales and marketing literature for the Integrated Data space within the Insurance market as well as leading the development of and present client proposals
-Lead project delivery and overall solution design at client sites following project methodologies (PMP certified a plus)
-Conduct or direct the sound completion of project teams' work
-Communicate project findings, conclusions and recommendations with peers and clients
-Participate in client meetings to review Integrated Data approaches and interpret results
-Lead client presentations and discussions
-Prepare white papers and other thought-leadership content regarding leading practices in Integrated Data within Insurance

Position-specific Requirements:

-Combined seven to fifteen plus years experience in a corporate or consulting Insurance environment
-Understand P&C and/or L&A front to back-office operations and related information requirements
-Undergraduate degree (BS or BA) from an accredited college or university preferred (advanced degree a plus)
-Hands-on experience in Information Management and Data Warehousing within a P&C or Life & Annuity environment required
-Demonstrated understanding of the insurance business including functional processes, financial and other measurements, data definitions and data relationships
-Demonstrated understanding of Integrated Data architecture styles and approaches including Operational Data Store (ODS), Data Warehouse (DW), Data Mart (DM) and Reporting/Analytic components with knowledge of related data quality, metadata management and information access techniques
