York Claims Service, a National Third Party Administrator, is seeking a qualified Material Damage Inspector. Responsibilities include (1) reviewing appraisals for completeness and accuracy. (2) Renegotiate appraisals when necessary. (3) Provide technical expertise and opinion to fraud investigation staff. (4) Monitor performance of appraisers and recommend changes when appropriate. Qualified candidates will have (A) 5 or more years of material damage appraisal experience, (B) have knowledge of computerized automobile damage appraisal system, (C) knowledge of state-of-the-art automobile repair equipment and procedures, (D) knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding the appraisal, repair and adjustment of material damage claims (E) Superior negotiation and communication skills.
