Insurance Risk & Regulatory Sr Associate

Job Description -- PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Insurance Regulatory & Compliance Advisory group delivers comprehensive performance improvement and risk management client services relating to regulatory and compliance governance, compliance organizational structure and compliance control environment. The group leverages capabilities to solve critical issues impacting insurance organizations focused on managing compliance risk, meeting federal and state regulatory and compliance requirements, and improving related processes and procedures.

We currently have an opportunities for Sr Associates in our New York practice.

Bachelor?s degree in a related discipline required (Accounting, Legal, Business, Finance); Master?s degree, MBA, or J.D. preferred


Job Requirement Essential

The ideal candidate will have:
- 4 to 7 years experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry, or with a financial services regulatory body, focusing on compliance
- Experience in and knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues for the insurance industry is desired (NASD, SEC, NAIC, HIPAA, IMSA). NASD Series 6 or 7, 26 or 24, while not required, are a plus
- Experience performing compliance reviews and risk assessments
- Experience designing and implementing compliance programs including monitoring, testing, and reporting.
- Professional services and consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills (writing sample will be required).
- Resourcefulness; aptitude and willingness to assume significant amounts of responsibility, including the management of others; and the ability to work independently.
- The ability to travel 80% (Mon-Thu), with expected travel 50%-60% annually.
