Insurance Specialist

Our client, a publicly traded, well known financial institution has an immediate need for an Insurance Specialist for one their locations in Southfield, MI. This is an excellent opportunity with a top-notch company!

Responsibilities:
Review proposals and policies for accuracy.
Issue certificates and benefit cards.
Communicate change requests to carriers.
Review and process endorsements.
Process insurance paperwork (i.e. audits, loss recommendations, develop proposals, and basic requests for information).
Input policy information.
Order loss runs and other information as requested.
Assist management in follow up activities with carriers.

Qualifications:
3-5 years P&C/group benefits with an independent agency or broker.
P&C or life/health license.
Experience working with Applied or other agency management system.
Experience with word, excel, and PowerPoint.
CISR or CIC designation preferred

This position is a contract position and the length of the assignment will be approximately 3 months.

The pay range for this position will be $19 per hour.
