Insurance Specialist Sr (Life)

Insurance Specialist (Life)
The role of this position is to provide Countrywide?s customers with the appropriate Life and Disability insurance coverage as well as fixed and or variable annuities. These products will be sold on a needs basis and tailored to fit individual client objectives and desires. This is done in a timely, professional and ethical manner consistent with Company objectives and standards. Duties include providing a full spectrum of Life Insurance/Annuity products to our client base via telemarketing. Will be responsible for the execution of business/action plans as developed and outlined with the Life Insurance Sales Manager. These plans will focus on overall Company production goals and on individual agent goals as well.
Requires a valid Life license with no compliance issues. Knowledge in all aspects of life insurance and annuities and 2+ years of experience in an insurance or customer service setting, preferably within a professional telemarketing department. Efficient time and business management skills required to work all lead sources in an effective and assertive manner. Minimum 1 year of experience rating, quoting and selling and or servicing P&C types of insurance products. Must be self-motivated with a focus on achieving high levels of production. Ethical and professional work standards with a commitment to Company goals and objectives also required. Must demonstrate exceptional sales abilities. Strong communication and listening skills, and the ability to organize workload and set priorities are a must. Solid PC skills. BA or BS degree in Business or other related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
