Insurance Technical Specialist - Insurance Services

Edward Jones is currently seeking a highly energetic and talented individual to serve as a technical specialist in Insurance Services. Responsibilities include answering technical, operational and procedural questions for annuities, life insurance and long-term care insurance from branch offices. Other duties include counseling investment representatives on more advanced client scenarios. Responsibilities:
-Provide service to the Edward Jones branches by answering technical, operational and procedural questions for annuities, life insurance and long-term care insurance Communicate general market and product information to branch offices.
-Adhere to firm policies and industry regulation.
-Counsel investment representatives on more advanced client scenarios.
-Handle more complex tax and regulatory issues.
-Interface with Product Review, Compliance and Insurance Marketing on a regular basis to ensure that proper guidelines are followed and maintained.

Requirements:
-Strong knowledge of products and technical aspects of investment grade protection insurance and annuities.
-Strong problem-solving skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent listening skills.
-Ability to work independently
-Customer service experience
-Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
-Decision-making skills
-Presentation and training skills
-A bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
-Working towards CFA or CLU designation preferred
-Minimum of three years of experience in the financial-services industry
-Series 7 and 63 licenses.
-Insurance Life and Health licenses.
