Job Summary:

Under limited supervision and guidance, the ideal candidate learns to underwrite and analyze new and renewal Umbrella and Excess Casualty business. This person will administer and monitor underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations. He/she will work within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity. Will be responsible for acquiring customer prospects through relationship development, basic underwriting and business unit product knowledge. Will also develop negotiation skills through interactions with producers. Will service customers through relationship management, account administration and use of underwriting skills. Rotational development into different Specialties Product business units is possible.






Job Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree required. Insurance coursework, internship within an insurance company or equivalent insurance industry experience a plus. Strong communication, organizational and time management skills required.
