LOSS CONTROL MANAGER Job Description

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 Formulates general safety policies and procedures to be followed  by client company or personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.Administers the inspection of  client woksites to detect existing or potential employee accident or health hazards, and ensures corrective or preventative measures are applied.Analyzes company's loss history portfolio. Develops loss control service plans, addressing loss drivers.  Designs programs to mitigate future losses.Prepares material and evidence for use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance company investigations.Works with outside contractors to ensure quality loss control service for clients.Devises, supervises, coordinates and implements training programs as required to increase client?s proficiency in safe work practices and to maintain an appropriate level of safety awareness at the worksite.Implements written procedures regarding loss control and risk assessment.Identifies clients whose loss experience exceeds Company?s expectations regarding frequency and severity of claims. Schedules site inspections and makes appropriate adjustments in client service plans.Oversees administration of the OSHA 300 Recordkeeping system.Provides training, supervision and guidance to the Loss Control Staff.
