Role: Learning Policy Consultant
Location: Louisville, KY

Assignment Capsule
The Policy Consultant will work with multiple departments to develop desktop policies and procedures that support various departments within the Clinical Guidance Organization in both Clinical Programs and Pharmacy. This person also updates current documentation to reflect changing processes, programs and system enhancements.
Strengthen organizational performance by creating standard operating procedures.
Participate in project teams producing policies and procedures published in an online content management system.
Read and interpret workflow processes.
Explore best known methods to communicate new and updated information.
Independently develop proposed solutions to issues or barriers.
Frequent communication with contacts in various departments and various roles.

Role Essentials
2-3 years experience in a technical writing environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
Proven consulting, project management and PC skills, including
Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes
Role Desirables
College degree with a preference for emphasis on Technical Communications, English,Journalism, Liberal Arts preferred.
Online documentation experience.
Information Mapping and Documentum skills a plus.
Previous experience in the healthcare or service industry
Reporting Relationships
A person in this role will be in the Clinical Learning and Development department under the Business Process Development Group within the Clinical Guidance Organization.
