Harleysville Insurance is a regional underwriting organization operating in 32 Eastern and Midwestern states, offering property and casualty insurance coverages to businesses and individuals.  Currently, we offer an excellent career opportunity for a professional in our Home Office Litigation Department.

 In this vital role, you will review/audit, resolve discrepancies and issue payment for legal invoices while identifying opportunities for savings on legal invoices.Negotiate resolution with law firmsUtilize exceptional customer service skills while negotiating adjustments to preserve relationships with law firms Act as liaison between law firms and Claims Specialists for invoice resolutionAssist in department and company projects as neededSupport litigation department per business needs

 

To qualify, you must possess the ability to understand and build relationships with key internal and external suppliers and customers who impact litigation processes.  Emphasis on Claims & Litigation Departments and law firms.  Knowledge of P&C insurance litigation, attorney billing practices and time to complete legal activities.  Ability to understand how actions affect claim handling process and complete tasks with minimal direction.  Bachelor?s degree; paralegal certificate is a plus.  Minimum of 1-3 years in the P&C litigation experience in a law firm or handling complex litigated files through resolution.
