Job Summary:

We may have the following opportunity available in our Parsippany, NJ Office: Liability Claim Specialist.

This self-starter will handle general liability claims (possibly some auto claims) of moderate complexity to prompt and equitable conclusions. Under technical direction, he/she will work within significant limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity and coordination. One will investigate and maintain general liability claims (possibly some auto claims), determine liability, secure information, review coverages and settle claims. One must possess demonstrated technical knowledge and skills, including product and industry, reflective of fully competent practitioner. He/she may also provide guidance and assistance to lower level associates.



Job Qualifications:

1) 2-5 years of General Liability experience required.
2) Litigation Management experience required.
3) Bachelors degree preferred.
4) Significant experience in the following jurisdiction is preferred: NJ. Multi-state experience a plus.
5) Any insurance license(s) a plus.
6) Strong customer service and computer skills are mandatory.
