Job Summary:

Centara Capital has an immediate opening for life insurance based Planner working in Advanced Markets.  This position requires comprehensive technical knowledge and capability to examine facts, assumptions and goals of the client and identify solutions.  This individual will hold a seat on the firm?s Advanced Estate Planning Team and will be working with predominately high net worth clients; therefore, professionalism and a high level of knowledge are a must.  This position will also assist in modeling the cashflows of the particular alternative and to detail the advantages and disadvantages of a particular recommendation.  This individual?s core competency will be to perform life insurance case design and provide written recommendations.

We are looking for an individual to: Provide life insurance estate planning solutions to high net worth clientsConduct life insurance design utilizing illustration software Liaise with insurance carriers regarding product design and COI comparisonsReview and evaluate existing, in-force contracts Experience with the life settlement market is desirableOccasionally assist at point of sale with planning team

Requirements:

Bachelor?s degree in business from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred.  Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the life insurance or financial services industry and knowledge of financial planning through industry experience.  Strong PC and software skills are required along with a CPA or Tax preparation background. Certification requirements include a California life insurance license, CLU, CFP or ChFC would also be preferred.
