Successful Candidates will demonstrate the following:

??Proven analytic and problem solving skills
??Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
??Two or more years of experience in Individual Life Underwriting
??Superior interpersonal and leadership skills
??Good organizational and time management skills
??A broad-based knowledge of life insurance products, compliance, and?procedural processing
??Proven ability to determine appropriate risk selection classification
??Industry designations or have the ambition to pursue them
??Solid experience in dealing with different distribution forces
??Ability to function effectively within limits of authority with limited?supervision
??Skills as a mentor, resource, and advisor to lesser-experienced underwriters
??Ability to secure personal information, make decisions, and organize data
??A 4-year degree is helpful but not essential for the position.
