Manager, Actuarial
The Long Term Care division is seeking a manager to provide actuarial support for our long term care insurance products. These products include both group and individual long term care insurance.
This position will be part of the Long Term Care Actuarial area. The main responsibilities of this position include managing and leading the valuation process for determining the active life and disabled life GAAP, statutory, and tax reserves. Additional responsibilities include various reserve and regulatory reports, process improvement projects, Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing, reserve transfer pricing support, and supervision of one staff member.
Requirements:
Previous experience in actuarial area
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
High level of motivation and drive for results
Preliminary actuarial exams or Associate of Society of Actuaries
Experience with PolySystems software is a plus
